Every bride has endless details to finalize for the special day arrives.  As a professional in the hospitality industry I’ve worked over 20 weddings this year, I know that each wedding is unique and some flow exactly as planned and others…well … let’s just say they don’t go exactly as planned. I do know that we have worked extensively with a handful of vendors that time and time again make each wedding day work flawlessly for the bride and groom. We breathe a huge sigh of relief when we hear from a bride that they have contracted with one of our vendors, because we know that is one less detail we need to attend to that day.  That is why we are so excited each year at my hotel to host our annual Bridal Show. The day is spent watching the fashion show models get their hair and makeup complete for their runway walk!  It showcases the vendors for gowns, tuxes, jewelry, photos, hair, makeup, linens, décor, photo booth, DJ’s....etc.   (Can’t forget to mention the awesome banquet space and catering at the Hilton Garden Inn) It is a celebration of each vendor we work with, and the opportunity to showcase what they do best to all of the Hampton Roads Brides. I was pleased to snap a few photos both during the event and behind the scenes to give a glimpse into how fun these events can be! Huge thanks goes to out to all of our preferred vendors for all of their hard work in making the day a success.
